During guided tours of around 75 minutes \u2014 available in multiple languages and in small groups \u2014 you’ll be captivated by history and natural beauty. <\/span>HISTORY AND PREHISTORY<\/span><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]Everyone knows the Rilke Trail that runs along the cliffs of Duino but not everyone visits Castello di Duino<\/a>, the private residence of the Princes of Torre e Tasso, where the great Bohemian poet was a guest \u2014 and he was far from the only one: the Castle has hosted Elisabeth of Austria (Sissi), Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Johann Strauss, Franz Liszt, Gabriele d’Annunzio, and many more. If you care about organic living, check out Azienda Agricola Carso<\/a>, with its farm shop selling organically grown produce and a bio-camping site nestled in an oak and ash woodland.
